Nua Galí is an Italo-Spanish photographer and creative director currently living and working in Barcelona.

She splits her time between working with clients within the fashion and cultural realm and the lab where she develops and experiments with analog techniques that enrich her body of work.

Nua began taking photographs moved by the urgency to tell stories. “I have always been attracted by stories; by our ability to encode meaning and to respond with imaginary solutions. I am fascinated by seeing how people intuitively make sense out of the unknown. After all, we tell ourselves stories to live.” Never questioning her instincts, she now applies her intimate and intuitive aesthetic to a different range of matters.

Nua describes her practice as “producing images from the inward”, seeking to invite the viewer to connect with a meaningful frame of togetherness. Her images convey a sense of intimacy, freedom and playfulness.
